Visceral massage / Only for women

Therapist : Séverine

Visceral massage aims to act on our brain through the enteric brain (belly).

The goal is to restore function to each organ of digestion, by working on points of attachment, position and movement, while allowing you to find a state of intense relaxation.

What is the goal of visceral massage ?

Visceral massage helps release these tensions, freeing the diaphragm and the organs attached to it.

The session takes place with gentleness and kindness, patience is the key. Indeed, the precision of the gesture, the contact with the organ, and the release time, require the patient to be in contact with the therapist's hand, to contribute your breath to its release.

This enteric brain, our 2nd brain ?

Scientists have discovered that we have a second brain. Our stomach indeed contains two hundred million neurons which take care of our digestion and exchange information with our brain. They noticed, for example, that our enteric brain, produced 95% of out serotonin, a neurotransmitter that participates in the management of our emotions. We knew that what we felt could act on our digestive system.

We are now discovering that the reverse is also true : our second brain plays with our emotions .
